Keep Your Security Information Up to Date
As always, we at Simpson Security value your safety and will do whatever it takes to help you protect what matters most. We need our customers to understand how vital it is to update their Residential and Commercial accounts. Knowing that your Central Monitoring Station has all of the correct information in the event of an emergency can help you rest easier at night.
Checking your information takes minutes
The safety of your home is very important whether you are in your home or away. In order to maintain your safety properly we need you to contact us once a year or more often. Be sure to be prepared when calling in and WRITE DOWN ahead of time all information to give the Dispatcher. At this time you can give us phone numbers and any code changes you may have, and ANY SPECIAL instructions you have for us to ensure that whatever situation may arise is handled properly.
Are all of your phone numbers up to date?
Over the course of a year things change and people come and go at any business. For that reason contacting us semi-annually or more often to ensure we have proper information for your Commercial account is very important. Proper call and dispatch procedure is key. When calling, be prepared with all new information. Check with all current employees on the call out list to ensure they haven’t changed their phone numbers. If there are new employees you can add or change their access numbers. Also we need to know hours of operation for automatic open and closes, who is allowed to make any account changes, and who to call and when during alarms. Of course you can call anytime you need to make any changes to your account!
Whether you have a residential or commercial alarm it is suggested that you familiarize yourself with the signals. What they mean and what should be done in the event of an emergency. In some instances Parishes and local authorities charge homeowners business owners for false dispatches. We have another upcoming blog which will discuss false dispatches and ways they can be prevented. Once again our monitoring station is manned 24 hours a day and there is always a dispatcher on the premises who will be more than willing to assist you. Our direct number is 318-443-3391.
